Aurelia Staub | artistic director konnex
Born in Zurich, trained as a dancer in Switzerland and the USA; lives in Vienna as a freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher, teaching adults and children, amateurs and professionals. She was a dancer with Elio Gervasi Dance Co. and Sebastian Prantl’s Tanzatelier. In 1990 she founded konnex whose artistic director she has been since. Initiated “T junction Gegenwartstanz”, and was its artistic director from 1996 to 1999. A frequent collaborator with Kulturkontakt Austria for “Tanz und Schule”, she has led workshops for all age groups at schools and within teacher training and further education colleges in A, CH, Ger, CR, CZ, HU, HR and I, and has taught movement and choreography workshops for theatre practitioners. She has created several choreographies and toured internationally. Since 2002 her company receives annual grants from the City of Vienna, in September 2004 it was awarded a 4-year-subsidy.

Christophe Dumalin
Born in Belgium, living in Vienna since 1994; trained in mime with Fusio Ischimaru and at the "Ecole Internationale de Théâtre Lassâad Saidi" in Brussels. Collaborated with various dance and theatre companies in Belgium, Spain and Austria, Clown with “Rote Nasen Clowndoktors”. Street theatre with Aksident (B) and with Irrwisch (A). Since 1999 he is a member of konnex. Solo productions: "Ce produit n'est pas de la mayonnaise", "La Balance".

Alessandra Tirendi
Born in Sicily, August 13th, 1968; dance training in Sicily, Vienna and Brussels. Professional dancer and dance teacher since 1992. Has danced with Diesel Contemporary Dance Company, Peter Darby, Bob Curtis Ensemble, ImTanz with Silvia Both, Wut Theater. She is a core member of konnex since 1999.

Giordana Pascucci
Born in Rome. A former member of the Italian national gymnastics team she studied classical and modern dance in Rome, Reggio Emilia, Los Angeles and Vienna (T junction). Besides she studied Laban's movement analyses, Yoga and Gatka, voice and rhythm. Dancing and collaborating in Italy and Austria in many different companies. Already with Konnex by Aurelia Staub and Dorotea Hubner in '92 and '95, since the year 1999 she is in the fixed crew of the company. She has taught dance in Rome, Naples, Graz, Linz, Vienna. Her Choreographies: "Ansito", "I miei ladri", " Diva o della vita facile", "To forgive but not forget" (together with Barbara Gassner), "Archives s<d>s" (co-choreography with H. Weinzierl). Directing Konnex-production: "(Some)thing missing(!?)", "Scipio".
